The Challenge
Northern British Columbia is booming, but over 75 percent of immigrants to the province move to large urban areas like Vancouver. Northern are great for families and well paid jobs and business opportunities are readily available. The challenge is to attract immigrants to communities located in Northern BC by profiling economic opportunities and community strengths.

The Solution
Develop four-page attractive community profiles showcasing economic opportunities and highlights of social and recreational activities in each town. These attractive, informative and easy-to-read documents contain authentic photos taken in the towns and incorporate the latest economic statistics available. Each started with a quote from a resident immigrant in each location. To ensure quality, local residents reviewed each draft profile.

The Result
Twelve community profiles, including three targeted at specific immigrant groups. You can view these profiles on the Government of British Columbia’s immigration portal, WelcomeBC.
